On the anniversary of Edgar Allan Poe's mysterious death in Baltimore, author David Gaylin will discuss his new book The Final Days of Edgar Allan Poe: Nevermore in Baltimore . Will the mystery be settled once and for all? Come and find out.

The first five attendees will receive a free copy of the book.  

About the Author: 

David Gaylin is a retired business owner from Baltimore, Maryland, where the shadow of Edgar Allan Poe is ever-present. A lifelong student and collector of Poe, his passion for the poet produced the book, Edgar Allan Poe’s Baltimore for Arcadia Publishing in 2015. When he is not writing books and poetry, David volunteers at the Edgar Allan Poe House where he is the senior docent. He is also a member of the Poe Studies Association and is currently serving as president of the Edgar Allan Poe Society of Baltimore.

About the Program: 

  • Doors will open to registered attendees at 5 pm. 
  • The first five attendees will receive a free copy of the book.  
  • Free parking vouchers are available to program attendees who park at the Franklin Street Garage (15 W. Franklin Street) after 4pm.  Ask Pratt event staff for your parking voucher prior to or after the program. 
  • This free event will be presented in-person and virtually.
