The Drawing Zoo brings nature lovers together to draw live animals to build a deep appreciation for animals through art.
In this visit, we will focus on combining the elements of art to draw the amazing Chameleon! Together, we will meet a real, live Chameleon and study each of their adaptations as we draw.
The Drawing Zoo was created by professional artist, Brittany Roger. Her animal-loving journey started when she was just 5 years old, catching critters in the yard. In 2012, she began bringing animals to schools and designing immersive lesson plans for artists of all levels. She is a nationally recognized and accredited teaching artist, professional illustrator and committed animal lover. In 2019, she participated in her first real fossil dig with experts and found a whole new world of exploration and art applications.
