The Irish Immigrant Experience in Baltimore with Cecilia Wright
Celebrate Irish-American Heritage Month with Cecilia Wright's presentation on Irish immigrants experiences in Baltimore, Maryland. Including factors that influenced the immigrants’ decision to leave Ireland, their experiences on the passage over and what life was like in Baltimore. Since Baltimore’s earliest days to modern times the Irish have been contributing to the city’s development.
Cecilia is a docent and member of the board for the Irish Railroad Workers Museum on Lemmon St. The museum recreates the home of Irish immigrants James and Sarah Feeley who lived in the home in the late 1800’s.
