About this Event
Presented in partnership with CityLit Festival.
CityLit Project joins the Enoch Pratt Free Library in presenting the CityLit Festival - Reimagined: a virtual celebration of the literary arts
This year’s Festival is a month-long engagement with premier poets and writers with special events each week and a daylong event on March 20, 2021.
Two teachers guide participants through the processing of grief with the lamp of creative writing. Using poetry, fiction, and memoir prompts and guided meditation, the teachers will help students navigate the swamp of sorrow and travel on to nurturing healing.
Both teachers battle grief from the loss of loved ones but are not social workers or ministers.
