Join staff from the Maryland Department at the Enoch Pratt Free Library for part 3 of our 5 part series, The Dark Side of Maryland!
Did you know Maryland is home to some of the country's most terrifying monsters? Join us and explore the lore surrounding a loch ness type creature who haunts the Chesapeake Bay, a goat-like humanoid hybrid who makes its home in the DC metropolitan area, two beasts from Western Maryland who may be mortal enemies, and Maryland's very own bigfoot. Whether you are a believer or not, you'll want to find out how Maryland stacks up against our nation's strangest legends and folklore.
