Ushabti: Crafts from the Tombs

Have you ever wanted to learn more about Ancient Egypt? What are hieroglyphs and how do we decipher them? Why were mummies buried with so much stuff?  Learn about all of this and more by making your own version of an ancient afterlife helper, also know as an ushabti.

Supplies needed: downloaded ushabti model sheet, pencil, and coloring pencils (optional)

Beginning April 19, pick up a printed ushabti outline from the Forest Park Branch or download and print it at home. You can also use the Pratt Library's remote printing service to submit a print request online for your preferred branch location.
