Calling all children of all ages to help us create a role model portrait gallery!

¡Invitamos a los niños de todas las edades a crear un dibujo de alguien que sea su ejemplo a seguir!

We want children to create a portrait of their role model. A portrait is a painting, photograph or another type of art form that shows a person’s face. A role model can be someone that you know (family member, friend, teacher, etc.) or someone that you don’t (celebrity, politician, athlete, etc.) that has done something important to you. Who inspires you to be the best that you can be? Who has done something that you admire? How has this person helped to create a community, neighborhood and world that you want to see?

Exhortamos a los niños a crear un dibujo o retrato de quien consideren su ejemplo a seguir. Puede ser una pintura, un dibujo, una fotografía o cualquier forma de arte que represente el rostro de la persona a la que admiras. Podría tratarse de algún conocido (familiar, amigo, maestro, etc.) o algún desconocido (artista, político, atleta, etc.) que haya contribuido en algo para ti importante. ¿Quién te motiva a dar lo mejor de ti? ¿Quién ha hecho algo que admiras? ¿Quién ha ayudado a crear una comunidad o un mejor mundo que te gustaría ver?

Draw or write your response and share it with the library to be a part of our portrait gallery, which will be featured on the Pratt Library's website.
