Writers LIVE! Lyle Jeremy Rubin

Lyle Jeremy Rubin, a veteran of the war in Afghanistan, will reflect on his military service that resulted in his disillusionment with American foreign policy and his questioning of the impact that the “war on terror” has on our national security.  Lyle Jeremy Rubin will be joined in conversation by Stuart Schrader, research professor in the Center for Africana Studies at Johns Hopkins University.

Lyle Jeremy Rubin served in the U.S. Marines Corps for five years and is a veteran of the war in Afghanistan.  His writing has appeared in numerous publications, including The Washington Post, The New York Times, and The  Guardian.
