Writers LIVE! Nicole Fabricant

Nicole Fabricant will explore how elevated industrial toxic emissions at the South Baltimore Peninsula have impacted the health and well being of the area’s residents.   She will also profile high school activists, who over the past decade, have voiced their opposition to race and class-based inequalities in the city and provided their own proposals for better environmental practices.  Nicole Fabricant will be joined in conversation by South Baltimore Community Land Trust environmental justice coordinator Shashawnda Campbell and youth leader and outreach specialist Carlos Sanchez.

Nicole Fabricant is an anthropology professor at Towson University. She is the author of Mobilizing Bolivia’s Displaced.
