Author, attorney, and podcast host Rabia Chaudry will reflect on her upbringing as the daughter of Pakistani immigrants. The author connected to her cultural roots through Pakistani cuisine and will explore the relationship between her body image, food, and her family.  Rabia Chaudry will be joined in conversation by Marcia Chatelain, history and African American Studies professor at Georgetown University.   

Rabia Chaudry is an attorney and the public advocate of Adnan Syed.  She is the executive producer of the HBO documentary series The Case Against Adnan Syed that is based on her book, Adnan’s Story.  She is also the co-producer and co-host of the podcasts, Undisclosed, The 45th, and The Hidden Djinn

Marcia Chatelain is the author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Franchise: The Golden Arches in Black America.  She is a history and African American Studies professor at Georgetown University.
