 uthor of six novels: Prep\, The Man of My Dreams\, American Wife\, Sisterla
 nd\, Eligible\, and Rodham. Her first story collection\, You Think It\, I’l
 l Say It\, was published in 2018 and picked for Reese Witherspoon’s Book Cl
 ub. Her books have been selected by The New York Times\, Time\, Entertainme
 nt Weekly\, and People for their “Ten Best Books of the Year” lists\, optio
 ned for television and film\, and translated into thirty languages. Her sho
 rt stories have appeared in The New Yorker\, The Washington Post\, and Esqu
 ire\, and in the Best American Short Stories anthology\, of which she is th
 e 2020 guest editor. Her non-fiction has appeared in The New York Times\, T
 ime\, Vanity Fair\, The Atlantic\, Slate\, and on “This American Life.” She
  is a graduate of Stanford University and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.\n\nJa
 ne Delury is the author of The Balcony\, a novel-in-stories\, which won the
  Sue Kaufman Prize for First Fiction from the American Academy of Arts and 
 Letters. An associate professor at the University of Baltimore\, she teache
 s in the MFA in Creative Writing & Publishing Arts and directs the BA in En
