Jasmine Guillory will be in conversation with Sharee Hereford about her work as part of Summer Break Baltimore.
In her latest novel, While We Were Dating, two people realize that it’s no longer an act when they veer off-script in this sizzling romantic comedy.
Jasmine Guillory is the New York Times bestselling author of six romance novels, including The Wedding Date, The Proposal, and the upcoming While We Were Dating. Her work has appeared in O, The Oprah Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Bon Appetit, and Time. She lives in Oakland, California.
Sharee Hereford is a writer, social media strategist, and Media Instructor for the Junior Scholars Program at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. Her love for reading, community, and storytelling led her to create the Sistah Girls Book Club. The book club started out as a way for Hereford to connect with like-minded Black women over books. It has grown into an editorial site, a podcast, in-person and virtual meetups, and author signings. The goal for the book club is simple: amplify Black authors and provide a safe space where Black women and girls can be in community with each other to discuss Black literature.
Order your copies of Jasmine Guillory's books from the Ivy Bookshop.
ASL interpretation will be available for attendees.
