Bestselling author Richard Rothstein (The Color of Law) and housing policy consultant Leah Rothstein will offer their thoughts on how to contest local, state, and federal housing policies that continue to uphold inequality and residential segregation. Richard Rothstein and Leah Rothstein will be joined in conversation by Baltimore City School Board Commissioner Ashley Esposito.
Richard Rothstein is the author of The Color of Law: A Forgotten History of How Our Government Segregated America. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the Economic Policy Institute and a Senior Fellow Emeritus at the Thurgood Marshall Institute of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.
Leah Rothstein is a housing policy consultant. She's worked with nonprofit housing developers, cities and counties, redevelopment agencies, and private firms on community development and affordable housing policy, practice, and finance.
Ashley Esposito is a commissioner for Baltimore City Public Schools. She has worked as an IT professional and in communications.
