In honor of Earth Day, we will have a discussion of "zero waste," two ways: the personal consumer angle and addressing the production source.
A representative with grassroots coalition Baltimore People's Climate Movement will interview Pratt Librarian Lauren Read about the zero waste lifestyle, addressing accessibility, and challenges. The table will turn for the second half as Lauren interviews PCM about zero waste on the large scale, including what initiatives are happening with activists, the City government, and in the state legislature, and how folks can get involved in those ways that hold manufacturers and other corporations accountable for change.
