Really was looking forward to this event. When I arrived was told that it was cancelled.

It was nice to get baby out of the house, but I was hoping for a more baby friendly book selection, and for the facilitator to follow the lesson plan. We had no scarves, no songs(besides the good morning song) and the facilitator did more talking to the adults and telling anecdotes than interacting appropriately with the babies.

Good film. Played well on screen at Penn Branch. Not many in attendance. A few women with children a little distracting but no biggie. Overall pretty good experience. My first time there for movie night but will definitely be going again.

Devin, despite his self-proclaimed nervousness, was a very good speaker and story-teller. I always find opportunities to find the story behind the picture(s) so this was a bonus to hear the story behind the photographer and subject. I am glad I got to meet him and hear about the many things he continues to do for his community, the youth and the world of photography. I hope he continues to help others in breaking the cycle.
